When this website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technical access data, in particular IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type, operating system and requesting provider. Processing serves the technical provision, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Before publication, please check whether the required data protection agreements, in particular a data processing agreement or corresponding data processing terms, have been concluded.

4. Contact by email

If you contact me by email, I process the data you send, in particular your name, email address, message and any further voluntary details, in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry aims at entering into a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Contact form

If you use the contact form, I process the data you enter, in particular your name, email address, company/organisation, consulting focus and message. The details are processed by a server-side function of Vercel and forwarded by email so that your enquiry can be handled. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry aims at entering into a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Cloudflare Turnstile

Cloudflare Turnstile may be used to protect the contact form against automated abuse and spam. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Turnstile checks whether input comes from a natural person or is abusively automated. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in protecting the website and communication systems and in avoiding spam.

7. Email delivery via Resend

Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, may be used as an email service provider for the technical delivery of contact form enquiries. The data entered in the contact form and technical delivery information are processed where this is necessary to deliver the enquiry and to keep it traceable. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Cookies, local storage and tracking

This website currently uses no analytics or marketing cookies. Technically necessary local storage may be used in the browser to display the cookie/privacy notice.

9. LinkedIn link

This website contains an external link to my LinkedIn profile. If you click the link, you leave this website. LinkedIn or the respective platform operator is responsible for data processing on LinkedIn.

10. Storage period

Personal data is stored only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as legal retention obligations require. Enquiry data is deleted once the enquiry has been finally handled and no legal obligations prevent this.
